Maxine Douglas writes in many genres and has found a love for western historical romance. A Wisconsin native, Maxine now resides in Oklahoma, where a small piece of red dirt has her name on it.

While Maxine may miss her family and friends in the north, she loves the mild winters Oklahoma offers. She and her late husband have four grown children, two granddaughters, a great-granddaughter, and a grey and white tabby. And many friends she now considers her OK family.
